DeutchmanAnne Deutschmann: Anne  Deutschmann was born in Bremen, northern Germany, where she attended the Academy of Fine Arts.  Before she could put her skills to work however, marriage and children became her priorities. A ten year stay in South Africa influenced her work. Coming to Canada, Anne joined the White Oaks Art Group in 1986.
Water colours became her new ideal medium to express the different Canadian environment; adding softer tones, winter scenes and lush landscapes. She attended workshops, took courses at Sheridan College and tried to absorb as much technique, inspiration and stimuli as possible. Eventually, she ventured back to her first love, abstract images, with acrylics as the medium. Collages and textured surfaces offered new challenges.
She has received awards and participated in many juried art shows.  She is a member of Visual Arts Mississaiga, Mississauga Art Gallery and a member of the Colour and Form Society.  905-822-8849, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
ArtneeNeerja Trehan: I am an emerging Canadian artist, living and working in Mississauga (Ontario). Art has always been a very vital part of my life. I started drawing from very early on and as far as I can remember, I have been inspired to create.
After finishing Bachelor of Fine Arts from College of Arts, India I worked as a graphic designer. This made my artistic endeavors to shift from art to computer screens. I immigrated to the USA after marriage. Though I was busy raising kids, but kept my passion for art alive by doing free-lance design and artwork.
In 2009, I relocated to Vancouver and the beauty of Vancouver inspired me to immerse myself completely into arts again. A constant source of delight and artistic stimulus, The West Coast renewed my energy and vision. I volunteered at Surrey Art Gallery in BC. In 2010 after moving to Mississauga, I started teaching in after school programmes, private studios and at my home studio.
My paintings are infused with color, texture and moments of life. Vibrant and intense colors are often present in my art, with my favourite medium being acrylic for its versatility. I find inspiration everywhere, whether its outside or at home and I draw upon memories and photographic references.  647-994-7203,
