Programs

SunflowerIn the Unitarian Universalist tradition, we believe each person must be free to seek his or her own truth, and that we are all on a lifelong journey to explore our spiritual lives.

Our children's program works to provide the foundation upon which children and youth may begin their own unique and life-long spiritual journey. Within a safe and loving community, we strive to help our children and youth grow up to be responsible and respectful members of the global community, able to act with compassion and to speak for justice.

Our Youth Group (high school age) meets on Sunday mornings and participates in a variety of activities including conferences, social action and inter-generational activities.  Our Adult education provides opportunity for continued learning and exploration, as well as friendship and fellowship.

Director of Lifespan Learning

Pamela Smith-Loeters is our new dynamic Director of Lifespan Learning. Pamela's vision is to encourage a strong sense of belonging by creating opportunities for our members to maintain and develop multi-generational connections and support each other as we explore our own wonder questions together.

Children's Programs

During our Sunday morning worship service we offer loving care for toddlers as well as engaging programming for pre-school and school-age children. The children & youth programming at UCM is known as Spiritual Exploration (SE).

Our team of carefully chosen volunteer teachers help the children explore our 7 principles through the use of story, discussion, crafts, cooperative games, and activities to create a fun, interactive experience for young people.

In addition to a regular Sunday program there are a variety of special events held throughout the year.

Adult Education

Adult Religious Education is concerned with lifelong learning and enrichment, and with building relationships within our religious community. With workshops, film discussion groups, and book clubs, we share our personal stories, explore religious and theological questions, and clarify or challenge our moral and ethical persuasions. Most importantly we discover fellowship and friendship on our individual spiritual journey and search for truth and meaning.

Check the side menu for a list of our ongoing programs and the articles below for special Adult Education events.
