| The UCM Youth Group has always been a wonderful learning and social place for our young people aged 13 (or Grade 9) - 19. Although the youth themselves set the direction and goals for the group each year, there are 2 adult leaders involved with the youth and who attend their gatherings. The youth group meets during the regular Sunday service in the "Barn" and does not participate in the 'Moments for Young People'. They are active within the congregation, hosting various events such as the St. Nick's Pancake Lunch in support of Peel Children's Aid Society as well as plan and run their own service each year for the congregation. In April 2008, several members of the UCM Youth Group enjoyed a very positive experience at the Intergenerational Peace Conference held at the Unitarian-Universalist United Nations Office in New York City. |  |
