Weddings and Ceremonies of Significance

UCM has two experienced Lay Chaplains, who are licensed under the Marriage Act of Ontario, serving the Peel and Halton Regions and surrounding areas. Fees for ceremonies are discussed in advance with the Lay Chaplain.

Our Lay Chaplains perform various Rites of Passage for the general public in the Peel-Halton Regions and surrounding areas, such as private homes, public or home gardens and rented halls.

Preparations for services are in consultation with the parties involved. Lay Chaplains have a wide variety of readings, sample services and suggestions and will ensure services are relevant and reflective of your personal circumstances and beliefs.

Rental and Facilities

The Unitarian Great Hall and other facilities can be booked for community meeting, medium sized events and concerts, and personal events.  This space is also available to groups for summer camps and workshops.

The Great Hall holds up to 200 seated or 150 at tables, and features:

-         beautiful wood décor and cherry hardwood circular wooden floor

-         large windows

-         attached kitchen (limited use)

-         sound system and projection system (extra fee)

-         grand piano (extra fee)

-         ample free parking

-         wheelchair accessible

-         natural landscape

-         a green building
